These creative young minds will be present at the Innovation Quarter of The Fair to talk about how they are trying to make a difference in the world. They will explain their projects and share their experience of developing from an idea, to becoming a prize-winning start-up company looking to build on their succees
The winning projects of The Hague Innovator’s Challenge are:
• 1st prize Noordzeeboerderij Scheveningen.
• 2nd prize Zonnebrand Zonder rommel.
• 3rd prize Urban mining with Credits.
Urban Mining with Credits will be present to talk about their idea to push a circular economy from the waste disposal of some everyday waste materials. Their aim is to develop and optimize the potential to re-use and recycle materials and equipment for local production of outdoor furniture for municipalities, toys for children and filaments for 3D-printing as shown in this video clip.
This is a great chance for students, scientists, entrepreneurs and curious minds to witness some of the opportunities presented by creative new businesses in The Hague. It will be part of a programme of animations and talk centred around innovation at the Fair.
