The Education Programme’s moderator, Diane Lemieux, is an experienced international: in her 14 moves to 11 countries she went through the British, American International and local Canadian school systems. She has also guided her children through the local Dutch primary system, the IB system at the ISH, an American International school, and a British boarding school. Both of her children studied ‘abroad’ in the UK and her daughter is now doing her MSc as an international student at Leiden University. Her undergraduate thesis was on comparative education and she was on the board of the American International School of Lagos for two years. Co-author of the book The Mobile Life: a new approach to living anywhere, Diane devised this informative programme for international parents and students in the Netherlands.
