If you’re relatively new to the Hague, or just haven’t yet had an opportunity to explore some of its hidden gems, you might just be interested in the walking tours offered by Keep Alive Walks.  As their title suggests, not only will you get to discover and see some of the wonderful delights Den Haag has to offer, you’ll also be given a fascinating insight into the nine lessons from the world’s Blue Zones, on living a long healthy life.

The walks are led by Sam Pitzalis who also as Keep Alive Tours has travelled extensively on his island of origin: Sardinia, the Blue Zone closest to the Netherlands. During his walks Sam teaches you how to use your surroundings to remind yourself more often of the nine world famous Blue Zone key factors, such as ‘finding and following a purpose’ and ‘taking more breaks’ to name but two. These and the remaining seven Blue Zone key factors are based on worldwide research on how to live a long fulfilled life while maintaining great health up until – yes – death.

If you’re interested in finding out more info about the tours then come check out the Keep Alive Walks stand, where Sam himself will be available and only too happy to have a chat.
