The Cecilia International Choir of The Hague has a history going back more than 40 years. We are ‘international’ because we embrace both expatriates and Dutch members who have lived and worked abroad. The language of the rehearsals is English – and we do not hold auditions.

Our core purpose is to enjoy the experience of making good music. We perform at least three times through the year:

At Christmas, we brighten up the dark days with festive concerts serving mulled wine and traditional mince pies in the interval;

We perform a major choral work in June

We organise a fun, themed supper concert in March.

Our 70 members divided into soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections. We are proud of our diversity of nationalities and welcome newcomers of all ages.

Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings in the British Junior School, located at Saffierhorst 117, The Hague from 19:45 until 22:00.

Thanks for being part of the 2021 Feel at Home Fair....join us in 2022!
