In a competitive global workplace, almost anyone can develop skills, but talent defines your true potential. This workshop will help you recognize your talent, make the most of it and move forward in your career.
Application, interview, job offer — wouldn’t it be nice if getting a new job was always as simple as this? As internationals in this country, we need to let our talent shine to stand out as candidates. Volunteering can be a smart way to help you develop and grow your talent, ease into the job market and provide you with the necessary support network.
Talent is one of the most valuable assets that you can possess. Developing your talent means staying in touch with your passion and building on your interests to add value to your profession and career. Many job seekers do not realize the value of volunteering for building relationships and identifying their strengths so that they can be confident about what specific talents will support their career path.
In this workshop you will discover:
- how to recognize your talents and identify what talent makes you unique;
- strategies to adopt when looking for volunteer opportunities that add depth to your skill base and develop your talent;
- ways to leverage volunteering for career success;
- if “hard work beats talent”
