The layout of the 2017 Fair will be very similar to that of last year: a bit like a city plan with room to breathe in the spacious parks, squares and boulevards.
In keeping with our theme of Art and Culture, we will be giving extra space to our Performances and Workshops which will take place on the Podium, in Central Park, on School Plein and in the STET Children’s Theatre on the 1st Floor.
We will also have an extended Seminar Programme incorporating our special Education Programme on the First Floor.
And we’re creating more places for people to meet, chat and eat in our International Food Court, Social & Selfie Hoek and Tea & Coffee Bar.
The Sports, Social and Community Stands, a unique feature of our Fair, which contribute to the warm community atmosphere will be distributed throughout: on the ground floor and on both the 1st floor balconies, taking advantage of the huge 3 dimensional Atrium of City Hall and giving our exhibitors room to set out their stalls.
The local International Schools will be out in force: grouped around the School Plein, but also in our special Education Zone where visitors can meet informally with representatives from many of our local institutions from pre-school to further and adult education.
On the ground floor, interspersed with the Commercial Stands, will be our many Small Business Standholders, many of them entrepreneurs from the local international community.
And there will be lots of opportunities for tastings and try-outs in our Yellow Activity Zones, many of them run by local communty fundraisers.
